Komodo Island: Departing September 8, 2025

Native to these islands the "Komodo dragons" have become a tourist attraction world wide.  

The pristine, coral filled waters of Flores and the Komodo Islands, offer another much more aesthetically beautifull adventure to experience.

Diving, or just snorkeling in the crystal clear seas, amongst the corals and a huge diversity of marine life, is one of the richest , any person could have.  

The culture, natural beauty of the lakes and volcanoes, the native handicrafts, make these islands a dream to visit.

Retreat Price Details

Resources provided for this retreat include:

Full board, Soft drinks, tea coffee, Toiletries, Linen and towels, 1 change during the cruise, airport/hotel transfers (to and from) Carpe Diem, Scuba diving, and snorkeling equipment (according to availability)

Obligatory surcharges include:

Park and village fees: 150 USD per trip, to be paid on board

Fuel Surcharge if applicable: 15 USD per night, to be paid on board

Extra cost: International/domestic travel, Visa fees, accommodation before and after the cruise, Bank fees, Insurance (travel and diving), Single cabin occupancy, Excursions from a third party, Alcoholic beverages, Tips for the crew, Extra services.

The overall price is $3125.

Program

DAY 1: LABUAN BAJO

We will pick you up at the airport or your hotel and welcome you on board with drinks. After the safety and boat briefings, we will show you to your cabin and let you settle down and unpack. We will have an afternoon and night dive in Wainilu.

DAY 2: CENTRAL KOMODO, DRAGONS, & PINK BEACH

We will have 2 dives in Central Komodo in the morning at Tatawa Kecil, Batu Bolong, and Karang Makassar. In the afternoon, we will go to Loh Liang Ranger station to see the famous Komodo dragons and finish the day on Pink Beach.

DAY 3: MANTA ALLEY & NUSA KODE

We now enter the Southern part of the park with a completely different landscape. The water is also cooler but very rich in marine life. In the morning we will dive at Manta Alley where we often see trails of mantas. In the afternoon we will head to Nusa Kode south of Rinca Island to admire the colorful reef and critters. We can also observe wildlife above the water with wild boars, deer, sea eagles, and Komodo dragons.

DAY 4: NUSA KODE & PADAR

We will stay in Nusa Kode in the morning and spend the afternoon in Padar. After the 3rd dive, we will go trekking to enjoy one of the most famous views of Komodo.

DAY 5: CENTRAL/NORTH KOMODO

We will have 2-morning dives in 2 of the various dive sites in Central Komodo and have the afternoon dining and night dive at Gili Lawa Darat.

DAY 6: NORTH KOMODO

For our two morning dives, the renowned Crystal Rock and Castle Rock dive sites will provide you with an action-packed day with current and marine life, with schools of fish and sharks. In the afternoon we will dive at Sebayor or Sabolan before making our way east.

DAY 7: PULAU RAJA

We will have our two morning (possible muck) dives at Pulau Raja before heading to Maumere.

DAY 8: MAUMERE

We will take you to the airport or your hotel in the morning.

The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip at around 12 pm. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
