Yogyakarta Retreat: 5N6D Journey

Yogyakarta, often hailed as the cultural heart of Indonesia, seamlessly blends history, art, and adventure. This carefully curated excursion promises a rich and immersive travel experience, highlighting the city’s unique heritage, vibrant traditions, and breathtaking landscapes.

We will embark on a visit to four distinguished destinations that highlight the best temples in Yogyakarta.

First is Borobudur Temple, the world's largest Buddhist temple, a masterpiece constructed in the 9th century under the Kingdom of Syailendra and now protected by UNESCO.

Next, we will explore Prambanan Temple, a stunning creation from the reign of the Mataram Kingdom. Here, the three temples are beautifully adorned with reliefs that bring the epic of the Ramayana to life, dedicated to the three great Hindu divinities: Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. It stands as the second-largest Hindu temple in the world.

Additionally, we will visit Mendut, knows as the oldest Buddhist temple in Indonesia, along with Pawon Temple.

With an expert tour guide from the Borobudur Conservation Agency leading us through these sacred sites, we will experience a remarkable blend of culture, history, and nature that will inspire our spirits.
